Backstory

Simone has always had a passion for film and television, but she first honed her business acumen and relationship-building skills in other highly competitive industries. She got her professional start managing a New York-based personal injury law firm, where she leveraged her accounting and business management talents to become one of the firm’s financial signatories.  From there, she moved into the music industry, managing several hit making producers and Grammy-winning R&B artists.  Simone then transitioned into New York’s real estate scene, starting her own company and servicing developers and investors with an interest in large residential and commercial properties.  She grew her staff to a team of 15 agents and amassed more than $800 million in sales.

In 2012, while still in real estate, Simone connected one of her clients with a colleague who was seeking financing for a film project.  The meeting proved successful, and the film became Simone’s first executive producer credit.  It was the start of a fruitful career in media. Just a few years later, Simone co-founded Ten Ten Global Media with Lisa Osinloye, a fellow executive producer.  Together, they provided an expansive suite of media industry services, including digital development and securing financing for intellectual properties in film and television.  Their services also covered distribution, post-production, and media technology.
